Family Support Services
Family Support Services at CHS provides peer support, information,
referral and education to parents of children with emotional or behavioral
needs. At CHS, we accomplish these goals through a variety of services.
All services are free to parents and caregivers.

Advocacy
To help you access, navigate and learn about your child's rights relating to
school systems, service providers and the community. Direct assistance
can be provided in preparing for meetings such as CPSE, CSE and others.

Parent Support Groups
Parent to parent support for parents of children with social, emotional or
behavioral disorders such as ADD & AD/HD, Autistic Spectrum Disorder,
Asperger's Syndrome/PDD-NOS and others.  Current support groups are:

~For parents of children with AD/HD, Autism, Bipolar Disorder or     
other emotional, behavioral or developmental conditions.  Childcare is
available, please register in advance.
1st Thursday of every month, 7:00 - 8:30 pm

For families of adolescents and young adults with Asperger's     
Syndrome and Autistic Spectrum disorders. Parents of children 15 and    
up,
1st Monday of the month, 7:00 - 8:30 pm

Parents of children 2-14 with Asperger's or high functioning Autism,
2nd Tuesday of the month, 7:00 - 8:30 pm

Proactive Intervention and Information and Referral
Assistance through short-term case management for families
whose children are experiencing behavioral issues.
Information can be provided to help you connect with needed
services and supports.
Referrals to other services, both within and outside of CHS
